Update…July 9th 2009
Here’s a pretty detailed video of the Banksy Exhibition in Bristol 2009, currently on until August 31st 2009!
June 13th 2009
Banksy has announced his first art show in Bristol since 2000, at Bristol City’s Museum on Queen’s Road. It starts today (Saturday 13th June 2009) and is going to run for 12 weeks.
The Banksy Versus Bristol Museum art show should be interesting so go have a look before it disappears. The Bristol Museum on Queens Road is open daily 7 days a week, from 10am-5pm (closed on the 11th and 12th June 2009) and it’s FREE! So there is no excuse really. The show is from Saturday 13th June – Sunday 31st August.

Banksy art has become synonymous with graffiti over the past few years after a number of high profile sales to celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
As with anything, there has been a backlash against Banksy as he becomes more mainstream and well-known (actually, loads of graff writers never liked him), but there’s no denying his art and popularity has had a positive effect on how urban art is seen by the public.
