D*Face has grown and grown as an artist in style and popularity, and we were pretty excited to see the results of his latest project, painting a 1950s curved pool for use by skaters. He’s done some pretty wild art here, check the full video too (it’s great).

London-based graffiti artist, D*Face, has created skater paradise with his design for MTV host, Peter King’s ‘Ridiculous’ skater pool. Inspired by skateboard graphics and the ever emerging street-art scene, D*Face’s animated and ‘punky’ creations are fast becoming the craze of youngsters and serious collectors alike.

For D*Face, the visual energy that exudes from his graphical inventions, stems from his long-lived passion for skateboarding, street art, music and animation. With previous sell-out shows in the UK and America, he is drawing in audiences from across the globe.

Offered the opportunity to paint the pool, D*Face fulfilled his dream of visiting the mecca of all skate communities, where his early interests in the relationship between art and skateboarding first came alive. D*Face finally finished his creation after four marathon 17 hour days of painting. As the sun went down on the fourth day, over 100 reputably wild skaters took to the vibrant backyard slopes, completing D*Face’s vision of interactive street-art in its finest form.
